Taylor Welch, born 1989 in Austin, Texas, United States is an American rugby league footballer who plays for the Aston Bulls in the AMNRL.
A winger, he was the first ever American to play in Super League after making his debut for the Wolves in a 44-24 defeat away to Castleford Tigers. Welch was selected in the American training squad for the Rugby Union NAWIRA Sevens Qualifiers in the Bahamas.[1] He has played for Fylde Rugby and Aix en Provence in pro D2. He now plays for Sale F.C and currently undegoing a citizenship test/application to enable him to count as a European player in Super League.[2]
